Protecting your data matters to us. quizzling is built to process as little data as possible: every quiz runs entirely inside your browser, and playing transfers no personal data to our servers.

Quizzes, streaks & best scores (local storage)

Your quiz results, best scores and daily streak are stored solely in your own browser (localStorage). This data stays on your device at all times, is not visible to us, and is linked to no account. You can remove it whenever you like by clearing the website data in your browser.

Share function

The score card is generated directly on your device (canvas). Your browser passes the image to the app you choose only once you actively tap “Share”. We receive no data in the process.

Server logs

When you open our pages, the hosting server processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested resource). This data is retained only as long as required and serves the secure, functioning operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies, consent & advertising

quizzling currently sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Should advertising be shown in future, it will appear only after your consent through a consent banner (consent management platform, CMP). You can withdraw that consent at any time. Until then, such services stay unloaded.

Your rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. To exercise them, write to info@quizzling.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
